Ok you guys, serious post today.
I have a confession to make…
Lately, I have been baking WAY too much.
It seems I have not let the holiday baking end!? Oops.
This little baking rampage I have been on, is all thanks to a fellow food blogger who creates too many outrageously perfect cookie and cake recipes.
Her name is Sally and her food blog is called Sally’s Baking Addiction!
Maybe you’ve heard of her!?
Sally literally created theeee best homemade chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever had.
Now thats a pretty powerful statement folks because i’m quite picky.
These are oh so soft, chewy, melt in your mouth chocolate chip cookies.
To be honest, i’ve never been the biggest fan of chocolate chip cookies and think that the Nestle Tollhouse recipe is overrated.
After seeing this recipe online and all the rave reviews, I gave it a shot.
This recipe is so unique because it calls for cornstarch which is the ingredient that makes them super soft. It also calls for more brown sugar than white and more vanilla than usual.
The dough chills in the fridge for a couple hours before baking.
I like to sprinkle a little sea salt on top after they come out of the oven 😀
I’m just obsessed with these. Can’t. Get. Enough.
I have made these too many times in the past couple months and everyone that tries them rants and raves at how wonderful they taste.
I have been posting pictures on my Instagram LEFTSIDEOFTHETABLE of all the goodies I have made from Sally’s blog and people keep asking me for the recipe.
I know its kinda strange i’m blogging about another blog…I just had to share this with my blog readers!!
Totally wish I could take credit for these amazing cookies, but I don’t deserve the praise.
Next time you want to bake something amazing, give Sally’s Baking Addiction a try 🙂
